Welcome at the Central Institute for Scientific Computing of the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg!

The ZISC is the center of competence for scientific computing within the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. As one of the first central institutes of this kind within Germany and founded out of the cluster of excellence Engineering of Advanced Materials (EAM), the ZISC combines the expertise and experience of more than 40 research facilities within the university. With this the ZISC represents a unique interdisciplinary platform for cooperation, which provides the necessary environment for even the most complex research activities in the field of numerical simulation and scientific computing.

It is our pleasure to announce the second International Conference on Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing EBAM 2018, which will take place from 11 – 13 April 2018 in Nuremberg, Germany.
